Inné is a newly-launched ethical and fair trade brand from the Philippines that features locally made, handcrafted pieces using raw, natural, and sustainable materials such as abaca, rattan, and raffia. They work directly with communities and artisans in creating modern-day essentials using age-old traditions and techniques.
The Maria Mule is the perfect accent for simple yet sophisticate dressing. Handcrafted using abaca rope and genuine leather, it has a pointed toe and raised heel. This piece uses handwoven abaca, the strongest of all natural fibers. As a sustainable fiber native to the Philippines, abaca is highly durable, flexible, and resistant to salt water damage.
Given its structured abaca upper, it usually takes until the 4th or 5th wear for the mules to be "broken in." The abaca upper gets softer, more flexible, and more comfortable with each wear.
All our products are individually handmade, thus no two pieces are exactly the same. Slight variations are inherent in the methods and natural materials used. These are not product flaws, but are considered minor distinctions that make this piece special and one-of-a-kind.
