Block printing is an ancient textile tradition, first practiced in China. The ’Kalamkaar’ sweatshirt/sweatpant presents a youthful reinterpretation of this sophisticated art form. The product boasts a mid-weight feel and refined, hand-painted detailing. Each piece is handprinted by a single artisan in Jhang, who block-prints vegetable dye onto accrue terry fabric. The rose adorning the sweatpants is painted directly.
“Rastah” Urdu logo embroidered across the left thigh of the sweatpants.
It has Woven Jacquard patches stitched on the backside of the sweatpants.
